Banff Trail Community Association provides a community based, volunteer run soccer program for ages 3 through 14. Besides the fitness and fresh air aspect, it is a great way to get to know your neighbours and for your children to make some new friends!

Registration for Banff Trail Community Soccer teams runs Feb10th until March 10th. Late registrations may be considered if space is available.

Extra Equipment Needed:
- All – shorts and socks
- U4 – shin pads & cleats are recommended
- U6 – U11 shin pads & cleats are required
Registration:
- Register on TeamSnap:
- If you are new to TeamSnap, click on the ‘Create a New Account’ button and create a username and password
- Payment may be made by cash, cheque or PayPal (see registration form for details)
- if you don’t already have a current Banff Trail Community Association membership (mandatory), please sign up for one
Volunteer Requirements:
One parent from each family is required to volunteer during the season. If you do not select one of the following options, we will contact you to let you know where your volunteer services will be needed. Specific details will be provided once volunteer positions are determined.
- Head Coach
- one per team
- coaching clinics will be provided to all interested coaches
- run team practices and games
- head coach or manager responsible for communicating schedules and game cancellations and will serve as the main point of contact for the soccer season
- responsible for equipment pick up and drop-off at beginning and end of season, and managing equipment during season
- Assistant Coach
- one per team
- coaching clinics will be provided to all interested coaches
- support head coach during team practices and games
- Team Manager
- one per team
- head coach or manager responsible for communicating schedules and game cancellations and will serve as the main point of contact for the soccer season
- prepare snack schedule, if team agrees on bringing group snacks
- Field Set Up Coordinator
- organizes line painting
- Line Painting
- paint lines (2-3 times per year, dependent on weather)
- Equipment Coordinator
- purchases and distributes equipment for teams
- Equipment Assistant – one per team
- assemble equipment at the Community Association before the season (pump and count balls, pack uniforms, pinnies etc.)
- BBQ Coordinator
- purchase food/supplies and organizes BBQ for Photo Day
- BBQ/Photo Day Volunteers
- volunteers for a shift on photo day
- Super Soccer Saturday Day Volunteers
- volunteers for a shift on Super Soccer Saturday
- Referee
- one referee needed for U10 home games
- paid position
- Field Measurement
- Volunteers are to re-measure Capitol Hill School Field prior to start of the season.
